Victory Sports Management is proud to present the Tour de Florida Virtual Challenge Season 3.   The Tour de Florida Virtual Challenge Season 3 provides a platform for all level of runners/walkers and cyclist to compete versus fellow athletes and their goals.  We have been in constant communication with parks, counties and state officials to determine when we will once again host live events.  With the current spike in COVID-19 cases, the outlook is not positive for a return before November 2020 (at best).  We truly miss seeing all of your smiling faces at the in-person live events but we know this will provide a great platform to stay connected.  he Tour de Florida Virtual Challenge Season 3 will provide a platform to keep you motivated to achieve your fitness goals.  The Tour de Florida provides four race options of which you can choose one or all of the event to participate.  The Tour de Florida Virtual Challenge Season 3 will take place over 61 days (October 1 through November 30).  Each event has a total distance you will be required to complete over 61 days.  The amount you complete each day is up to you and completely flexible.  There are no mandates other than completing the total distance in 61 days.  This is a great platform to form a team and challenge each other, to keep each other motivated while having the ability to enjoy a common bond during the 61 days.

Each event will provide the feel of competing on roads in the great state of Florida.  Each event has a total distance to complete, ranging from Tallahassee Capital Challenge at 29 miles (average 0.46 miles per day) to the I-75 Challenge at 471 miles (average 7.72 miles per day).  All participants will receive a custom race bib, event dri-fit shirt, custom finisher medal and personalized race certificate.  You will log your event miles on the event results page as you complete each session.  We will provide you with a daily event log, detailing each event leg you submit along with a map of your route and your current location and the city/landmark your are near.  We will have a daily leaderboard update available for all participants to monitor at www.victorysportsmgt.com.  We will also have daily post on social media (Facebook and Instagram) to showcase all the athletes.

Each event has a theme based off Florida, being a virtual event you are not required to actually compete at the exact location of the event you registered.  We will provide scenic pictures based off the themed race you choose to provide the feel of Florida.  It will be as if you were truly running/cycling through the Tallahassee, Orlando, on the Florida Turnpike, or along I-75.
*Disclaimer:  Please do not compete on unsafe roads, or areas that are closed to the public.  Practice social distancing and any other requirements set forth by local, state and federal guidelines.  Florida Highways are not open for pedestrian traffic, this is a virtual run only, please do not gather as a crowd in any one location at the same time.

We will work to keep everyone active on social media and help push each other to achieving and exceed their goals.  You will see friends and family on our social media pages during the event and will have the motivation to beat them all.  We will have social media contest for best posts, best pictures and best celebration (hint: be very creative).

FAQ

Q:  How do I view the event results?
A:  You can view the event results by going to www.victorysportsmgt.com, click “Event Results” then click on the Tour de Florida Virtual Challenge 3 Logo

Q:  Can I run, walk, cycle, or swim in the event?
A:  We have events setup for each skill. Each challenge offers a platform to Run/Walk, Cycle, or Swimming.  There is not a platform to utilize all three skills in one challenge.  If you sign up for Running/Walking then you must compete by running/walking.  If you signed up for the cycling portion of the challenge you will only be allowed to use results via cycling.   If you registered for the running challenge you must run, if you registered for the cycling challenge you must ride and if you registered for swimming then you must swim.  We would not be able to provide a fair platform if we allowed running and cycling in one event.  If a participant ran 60 miles and cycled for 20 miles, it would not be fair to compare results versus someone who ran 20 miles and cycled for 60 miles.

Q:  Do I have to live/be in Florida to participate?
A:  No, your registration includes shipping anywhere in the United States.  International participants will pay additional fee for shipping.

Q:  Do I have to participate in all four events?
A:  No,  you can choose which event suits your abilities the best.  You will receive a race packet for the event(s) you register?

Q:  Can I participate in all four challenges?
A:  Yes, you will receive the complete race package for all events you register.  Each challenge has a different race package available.

Q:  Can I begin to log my miles prior to October 1?
A:  No, only the miles logged from October 1 through November 30 will count towards the Tour de Florida Virtual Challenge 3

Q:  Can I log miles several times a day?
A:  Yes, you have the freedom to complete miles towards your goal at any pace and schedule you wish.

Q:  How do I record my completed miles?
A:  The event website will have a form for you to submit at the completion of each day, www.victorysportsmgt.com/tourdeflorida3

Q:  What activities can I compete in for the Tour de Florida Virtual Challenge?
A:  All four challenges have a platform for Running, Walking, Cycling, or Swimming.  You must register for the platform you wish to compete.  You cannot run and cycle within one specific challenge.  If you wish to run in the Tallahassee Capital Challenge then you must sign up for Tallahassee Capital Challenge – Running.  If you wish to cycle in the I-75 Challenge then you must sign up for the I-75 Challenge – Cycling.  Athletes who are looking to challenge themselves running and cycling have signed up for separate challenges for the duathlon feel.

Q:  Can I switch to a shorter distance event after October 1 (start of the event)?
A:  You can switch but you will not be eligible for the finisher medal in the shorter event.  Medals are ordered based off your registration.
